Born and raised in Indiana, self taught artist, Karen Hollingsworth, has called East Tennessee her home for nearly thirty years. Her chosen career path was originally teaching and counseling, but some changes in here life led her to pursue her art full time. It was during this time that a chicken "appeared" in her drawings and refused to leave! To this day you will find one, either obvious or hidden, in each and every design she creates. She states: "It just wouldn't feel right to leave them out. They bring joy to the art."
